Surviving Recurrence
I went for a mammogram 8 years ago and that is when my journey started. I had stage 1 breast cancer. I had surgery to remove the lump that was in my tube and then underwent 4 months of chemotherapy followed by radiation treatments.
My stage 1 breast cancer came back
I was cancer free for 7 years. Then it came back last year this time. It was angiosarcoma of the breast.
I underwent chemo again every week for 3 months then had a double mastectomy, then 3 more months of weekly chemo.
In remission now
Now again I am in remission. With God's help, prayers, and my great doctor I am on my way to be cancer free. So don't give up. God has this in each and everyone of us.
