Getting Comfortable

For one bonus entry in our AdvancedBreastCancer.net BeWell multi-access hoodie giveaway, please respond to the below prompt:

Navigating a MBC journey can bring many uncomfortable moments, from doctor’s appointments to simply finding comfort at home. We’d love to hear from our AdvancedBreastCancer.net community:

How do you find comfort during these challenging times?

What strategies or practices have helped you ease the discomfort?

What has someone else done for you that has brought you some comfort?

  1. Held the hand of someone

    1. This is so huge and I feel like often undervalued. Holding someone's hand is one of the kindest gestures a person can do. So sweet of you to do that. ❤️ Kayleigh, Team Member

  2. My service dog is always by my side and comforting me. My parents do an amazing job of supporting me as well.

    1. There is something to be said about the love from an animal. I'm happy to hear you have your dog and parents to help support you. Sending you strength every step of the way. -Beth (Team Member)

  3. My therapist taught me how to meditate and do breath work.

    1. That's so great. If I may ask, did they teach you any special techniques that you can share, especially with the breath work? I've heard of the 4-7-8 breathing framework. Is it similar to that? ❤️ Kayleigh, Team Member

  4. My husband comes to all my treatments to make sure I’m comfortable.

    1. I love that your husband does that. That must be such a relief to have that support and solidarity there. ❤️ Kayleigh, Team Member
