Has anyone experienced severe back pain while on Anastrazole and if so does it gradually get better?

Hi Doria. I am currently taking this medication and although I have not had back pain, I have had joint pain that has gotten better over time. I am usually very stiff in the mornings and once up and moving things get better throughout the day. Exercise seems to help! Caroline, Team Member.

Hi Caroline, thanks for replying.I too am very stiff in the morning and do stretches first thing to limber up.I'm also 72 so I have good and bad days.It does get better as the day goes on.I've only been on this since this past September so ill give it more time.I also deal with osteoarthritis in my back that is severe at times. Thanks again.....Doria new member.

Hello Everyone, I've been on this medication (over 4 years) and also experience stiffness in my hip joints and sore upper leg muscles. I get massages regularly and try to do stretches throughout the day and walk as much as I can. I'm also 70 years old. When the pain is intense I take aleve and it helps. I also use my heating pad regularly. This really sucks!

If you are open to it, CBD can be incredibly helpful to manage pain. I’m a huge fan! I also really like swimming if that’s something that is accessible to you.
Nice to meet you, new friend! Welcome to our space 😊👋🏻

Hi there Doria!
Anastrazole makes me REALLY stiff. I think having some pain is pretty normal, however, if anything is unbearable, definitely talk to your team.
I’m hoping those stretches are helping you, and if you are open to it, CBD is very helpful for pain (again, talk to your team!).
Thank you for reaching out here, and I hope you can get some relief soon to have more good days than bad!
