Remembering April Doyle
We are incredibly heartbroken to share that AdvancedBreastCancer.net team member, April Doyle, passed away on Saturday, September 12th, 2020. April was first diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2014. We are thinking of all of her loved ones, especially her nine-year-old son, Colin. Her story, positive attitude, humor, and fierceness will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
A dedicated advocate
April was involved in advocacy work since she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. April was a dedicated writer and contributor to her own blog The C(ancer) Life as well as our community, AdvancedBreastCancer.net. She was the former Editor in Chief of the Underbelly, her contributions have also been featured in magazines such as Wildfire, Good Housekeeping and Oprah. She was also a Hear My Voice advocate with Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization. Her wittiness, laughter, and energy will be dearly missed. Her writing can be found at the below links.
