Fear

After reading Abigails's story, it made me cry. I relate so well to all she is sharing. It's very hard for me not to be the strong persoin in my circles with all the answers. I've never been in this situation before and the areticles really hit home for me and gave me some great avenues to deal. Thanks Abigail!

  1. We're so glad that Abigail's words resonated with you. We know that it is hard to go from being the "fixer" to having to rely on other people when you need help and are looking for answers. No two person's experiences are the same, but we are glad that the experiences of those in our community provide you with support and guidance and can remind you that you are not alone. We're here for you. Were you recently diagnosed with advanced breast cancer? Warmly, Patty (Team Member)

    1. I was diagnosed 2 and a half years ago. Feeling very blessed that my first line of treatment is still working. Still live with fear all the time.

      1. that is wonderful that your first line of treatment is still working, but of course living in fear all the time is something this community understands and knows well. You're not alone. As Patty said, we're glad Abigail's articles hit home for you. It's definitely okay to not be the strong person who has all the answers (but what a difficult challenge it can be when that's not who you're used to being). Sending you gentle hugs. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

      2. thank you so much for sharing with us!!

I am also on my first line of treatment, almost 2 years out. I’m always scared of having to change it up or rework something, or a recurrence.

These forums are so important for us to come together and remind each other we are not alone.

        Sending love
