Stage 4 ... Just Like That

I was 10 years out from a bilateral mastectomy. Had lobular, pleomorphic type, Stage 1, left breast. Did 5 years of anastrozole. A year ago in May, I happened to mention to my new provider that my low back ached. She ordered x-rays and labs. There it was; a bone lesion on my ilium. Stage 4. From there, it was more scans and a biopsy. I had 5 aggressive rounds of radiation and am back on anastrozole. Doing ok.

This is my story.
