My Story - Stage 1 to MBC

I was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer. Lumpectomy and radiation. Lymph nodes were negative. Everything was fine. Then, my tumor markers started going up.

Fast forward to I have metastatic breast cancer in both lungs. A total shock to me and my loved ones. How could a lump so small cause all of this heartbreak 💔?

I'm getting targeted hormone therapy and taking Ibrance. I have good days and bad. I'm on an emotional rollercoaster. I don't have the energy I had before. But I am happy to have the time left to make memories with my grandkids.

Trying to keep a positive attitude. This website has been a lot of help to me. Glad to have you all to share with.
