I just had a lumpectomy
I woke up in the middle of the night with pain in my right breast. I sat up and started mashing around and found a lump. I went to my doctor right away and he said yes, there is something there. Got a mammogram, sonogram and biopsy. I had a medium size mass, 2 suspicious calcium deposits and 2 cancerous lymph nodes. Tuesday I had a lumpectomy and had the lymph nodes removed. On the 23rd I will have my stitches removed and see an Oncologist. They put a port in so I will have radiation soon and most likely chemo. They said my cancer was very aggressive.
