"I am feeling great! In 2012 I was diagnosed with MBC Stage 4. I was put on a cocktail of Herceptin and 2 other chemo drugs. The tumor was 6 centimeters and after 3 months of this cocktail every 3 weeks the tumor had shrunk and I had a single mastectomy. I continued with the herceptin until May of 2025. All my scans have been clean and it was at my doctors suggestion that I not continue the Herceptin. I walk 2-3 miles a day, take a senior exercise class at the “Y” and garden and travel. I decided not to have radiation. Yes, I get tired. I have aches and pains. But I am alive and enjoying all the time the good Lord will give me. "
